First appointment of the annual workshop with Grzegorz Bral
After the Master Class in September 2022, Grzegorz Bral returns to Onda Lab to open his school to Italy too. This is the beginning of a collaboration between Onda Lab and the Songs of the goat theater company.
Working with his experience, Grzegorz has created a teaching method based on the integration of all acting techniques in a high-level organic and shared unit.
The workshop is planned over three intensive weekends, the actor will be able to recognize how every single exercise of this acting technique awakens a deep self-awareness and reinforces interconnection, magnetism, charisma and stage presence.
The discovery and union of this set of deeply connected elements will lead, at the end of the workshop, to the production of the director's first Italian show which will be presented in one of the city's theaters.
An unforgettable experience in which the strength and energy of the individual merges with the group that welcomes him to create an effective and engaging synergy.
Grzegorz Bral
Ha studiato filologia polacca presso l'Università di Danzica, l'Università di Maria Curie-Skłodowska a Lublino e all'Università di Breslavia, nonché studi teatrali presso l'Accademia di teatro Aleksander Zelwerowicz a Varsavia. Nel 1987-1990 ha collaborato con il Gardzienice Center for Theatre Practices, dove nel 1990 ha debuttato come attore nel ruolo di Tristano nella commedia Carmina Burana.
Nel 1998, insieme ad Anna Zubrzycki, ha fondato il Song of the Goat Theatre di Wrocław, con il quale ha ottenuto successi internazionali, ricevendo premi, tra gli altri, al Fringe Festival di Edimburgo, dove nel 2004 e nel 2012 ha ricevuto il prestigioso Fringe First. Le esibizioni di Bral hanno ricevuto premi al Kalisz Theatre Meetings (Grand Prix nel 2003 e premio per la squadra nel 2006), al Mess Festival di Sarajevo (Main Audience Award, 2006) e al Jeleniogórskie Theatre Meetings (secondo posto nel sondaggio del pubblico). Nel 2010-2012 è stato direttore artistico dello Studio Theatre di Varsavia. Nel 2010, insieme al Song of the Goat Theatre, ha ricevuto il Premio della Sezione Critici Teatrali del PO ITI per aver reso popolare il teatro polacco nel mondo.
Dal 2012 insegna alla Bral School of Acting, che dirige a Londra.
Nei 2021 è stato nominato fra i 20 registi teatrali dell’Est Europa che hanno Innovativo quest’arte
